Heal Your Emotional Pain-body with Reiki
All of us have the capacity for every emotion, both positive and negative. Give Yourself the Gift of Reiki
Daily self-Reiki is extremely beneficial in calming anxiety and fear, which is the precursor to anger and rage. A quick and simple way to calm your emotions with Reiki is to place your hands over your heart, sending loving energy to your heart center, repeating “I Am. I Am Love”.
Finding time to do self-Reiki is vital for us during emotional times. Whenever we find that our pain-body has been triggered, it is a sign that we are running low on energy and we have to fill our buckets. Reiki Art Therapy
Consider keeping a pain-body art journal. Art has been used as therapy for decades, and it’s even more powerful when paired with Reiki.
Create a drawing of your pain-body. Use your imagination – use crayons or colored pencils to color your aura and your pain-body aura. This is easier said than done because most of us don’t do art because we feel that we have no talent. Remember, our creative expression is a part of us and deserves to be honored. No one is judging, except us. So, drop the judgment and draw, color, or paint what you feel.
Place your hands over the drawing and send your pain-body loving Reiki energy. If you have the HSZSN symbol, use it to send distant Reiki to your pain-body from the past and in the future.
Artistic expression, paired with Reiki, will help you heal your pain-body and find your natural state of being, which is joy and love.
Use Reiki Awareness to Bring Light to your Pain-body
In The Power of Now, Eckart Tolle explains “The pain-body, which is the dark shadow cast by the ego, is actually afraid of the light of your consciousness”, and he goes on to say “If you don’t bring the light of your consciousness into the pain, you will be forced to relive it again and again”.
Reiki is a wonderful tool for increasing awareness and allowing you to observe your thoughts and feelings. The moment you begin to feel your pain-body being triggered, use your “Reiki awareness” to become centered. Reiki awareness is simply thinking or saying any of the Reiki symbols or the mantras associated with them. For example, you can think, visualize or say the CKR symbol, or you can say the mantra “Let the Healing begin here”. You might also use the mental-emotional symbol, SHK, or use the mantra “Let there be harmony”.
You can also use Reiki Breath to bring light to the pain-body and the emotions that are arising from it. The important part is to catch it as soon as you can. In the beginning, you might only be able to bring awareness to the pain-body after it flares up. If you keep practicing, eventually you will catch it as soon as it begins to arise. Over time, your Reiki awareness will be stronger and you will be able to depend on it to help you bring your pain-body into the light every time it begins. It is in this place of light and awareness that the pain-body can begin to heal.
